Claiming your restaurant

Your restaurant is already listed. Prove it is yours and it becomes your restaurant to run, with the verified badge.

Where to start

An unclaimed restaurant's page shows its menu without Add buttons and a card, Is this your restaurant?, with Claim this restaurant. It opens the claim page, which walks you through three steps shown across the top: Your account, Prove it's yours, Review.

1. Your account

Sign in, or Create an account; either way you come straight back to the claim page. Use a customer or restaurant-owner account — staff and driver logins cannot claim.

2. Prove it's yours

Choose one of the ways the platform offers:

Way	What happens
Google Business Profile	Sign in with the Google account that manages the listing, then pick it from your listings and press Confirm this listing. Its name and address must match the restaurant.
Text message code	Press Text me the code: a 6-digit code goes to the restaurant's own phone (shown masked, •••• 0141). Enter it and press Verify. A code lasts 10 minutes and allows five tries; Send a new code works once a minute.

You can have up to three open claims at a time. Withdraw claim cancels yours.

3. Review

The page says We're reviewing your claim and you get an email. When it is approved you are told by bell and email, and you land on Get started to set up the menu, hours and payments. The restaurant is on the platform's default plan; choose another under Plans & billing. If the claim is not approved, the reason is shown on the claim page and you can try again.
