Push broadcasts
One message to a whole audience, delivered to the notification bell inside the platform.
Admin → Push notifications
Which events raise a notification, and on which channel.
What this is, and what it is not
A broadcast lands in the recipient's notification bell inside the platform. It is not an email and not a text — it is seen when the person is signed in and looking.
So it suits things that matter while somebody is using the product and do not matter urgently otherwise: a new feature, scheduled maintenance, a policy change, a seasonal push to your restaurants. For anything that must reach a person who is not signed in, use email.
Sending one
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Title | What is read first. Say the thing rather than teasing it. |
| Message | The body. |
| Audience | One of five: everyone, customers, restaurants, drivers, or staff. |
Send tells you how many people it reached. Suspended and archived accounts are excluded automatically, so the count is real recipients rather than rows in a table.
The history, and resend
Every broadcast is listed with its audience, its wording and when it went. Resend sends the same message again to that audience as it stands now — so a resend after a month of signups reaches people who were not there the first time. That is the point of it: catching newcomers, not nagging the people who already read it.
Sends and resends are written to the audit log with the audience and the recipient count.

When it doesn't work
The recipient count is lower than my user count
Correct. Suspended and archived accounts are excluded.
Somebody says they did not see it
It waits in their bell until they sign in. There is no delivery guarantee beyond that — which is exactly why anything important also needs an email.
I sent it to the wrong audience
It cannot be recalled. Send a short correction to the same audience; that is the only remedy.
