Platform reports
Seven reports covering your money, your restaurants and your customers — and which one answers which question.

Which report answers what
They overlap deliberately: the same order appears in several, counted differently. Pick by the question you are actually asking.
| Report | Answers | Full guide |
|---|---|---|
| Platform earnings | What did the platform itself make? | Platform earnings |
| Recurring revenue | What are subscriptions worth per month, and what am I losing? | Recurring revenue |
| Sales | How much is being ordered through the platform, by anybody? | — |
| Promotions | Are discounts and deals paying for themselves? | Deals |
| Restaurant insights | Which restaurants carry the platform, and which are fading? | Restaurants |
| Customer insights | Who orders, how often, and do they come back? | — |
| Ad revenue | Is sponsored placement worth selling? | Ad revenue |
Sales and earnings are not the same number
The distinction that causes the most confusion, so it is worth stating outright:
| Sales | Platform earnings | |
|---|---|---|
| Counts | Everything customers ordered. | Your share of it. |
| Grows when | Restaurants trade more. | You take a larger cut, or sell more plans and ads. |
A platform can double its sales and earn barely more, if the growth is all on low-commission plans. Take rate on Platform earnings is the figure that shows it.
Restaurant insights is your retention warning
Restaurants rarely announce they are leaving — they simply trade less, then stop. A venue whose orders halved this month is the one to telephone, and this report is where you notice.
When it doesn't work
Two reports disagree
Check the date range on each — they do not share one, and several default to different periods. Then check whether one counts accrued and the other settled.
A report is empty
Either nothing happened in that period, or the feature behind it is off. Ad revenue is empty without sponsored placement; Recurring revenue is empty without plans.
The figures include demo data
If you installed the samples, they are in your reports. Clear them before you judge anything — see Maintenance mode & backups.
