The team table
Per member: role, sales taken, average check, items prepared, bookings confirmed, tables seated, guests, tips and when they were last active. Each row opens that person's own page.
The columns that matter differ by role, which is the point — a cook is measured by items prepared, a host by tables seated, a server by average check. One league table across all of them would be meaningless.
One member
An individual page shows orders confirmed, orders prepared, items marked ready, completions, cancellations and total actions logged, with an activity trend of actions per day.
The genuinely useful readings are the unusual ones: a cancellation count well above everyone else's, or activity that stops mid-shift. Both are worth asking about, and neither is visible any other way.
Average check
Where servers take orders at the till, average check per server is the one figure here that reflects skill rather than volume. A server whose average is consistently higher is upselling, and that is teachable.
It depends on personal logins
Every action is attributed to whoever was signed in. A shared login makes this whole page read "the manager did everything" — see PIN lock, which is how a shared screen still records individual people.
When it doesn't work
One person appears to have done everything
A shared login. Give each member their own, and use PIN lock on shared screens.
A member shows no activity
They have not signed in, or their work is not the kind that gets logged. Front-of-house work done without touching a screen leaves no record.
Items prepared is zero across the team
The kitchen display is not being used.
Sales taken is blank for a server
Orders are being taken on a shared till without individual sign-in.
